Android 11 Beta available to OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, coming soon to some Xiaomi and Poco phones

Yesterday the Android 11 Beta was released by Google , but at that time it was only available to Google's Pixel phones. Now we've learned that it's expanding to more devices.
OnePlus has released the Android 11 Beta update for the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro. This release is part of OnePlus's Developer Preview Program, and anyone with a OnePlus 8 or 8 Pro can download the Android 11 Beta update and flash it to their phone right now.
OnePlus does caution that this build of Android 11 is "best suited for developers and other advanced users" because it's still at an early stage. Because of this, OnePlus says that it does not recommend you flash this ROM if you don't have experience in software development or flashing ROMs or if you plan to use the device as your daily driver.
If you know the risks and still want to flash the Android 11 Beta to your OnePlus 8 or 8 Pro, there are some known issues to be aware of. For example, features like face unlock, Google Assistant, and video calling don't work, and OnePlus says that some UI screens look "less than desirable".
The good news is that if you flash the Android 11 Beta and don't like what you see, you can roll back to Android 10 .
Xiaomi has confirmed that it will also offer the Android 11 Beta to some of its devices. The update will be available to the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro as well as the Poco F2 Pro . The Android 11 Beta updates will be offered for these devices "soon".
When it was running the Android 10 beta last year, Google opened testing up to several non-Pixel phones including some from OnePlus and Xiaomi, so it's good to see that happen again with Android 11. While the beta update may still have some bugs, there are still lots of non-Pixel owners out there that want to try Android 11 before it's released to the public.
