Android 10 finally starts rolling out to the Moto G7 Play

Motorola has finally started rolling out the Android 10 update for its entry-level Moto G7 Play. The update has arrived a little over a month after the Moto G7 began receiving its stable Android 10 update.

As per XDA Developers , the stable Android 10 update for the Moto G7 Play is currently available only in Brazil. However, the update is expected to become available in at least a few more regions in the coming weeks. In Brazil, the update arrives as version QPY30.52-22.

The update comes with all the features that you would expect, including a new system-wide dark mode, support for smart replies, gesture navigation, and more. As noted by XDA Developers , the Moto G7 Play is oddly running 32-bit software even after the Android 10 update. The phone runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 632, which is a 64-bit mobile processor.

The Moto G7 Play shipped with Android 9.0 Pie out of the box when it was launched in early 2019. Since the company has promised just a single OS upgrade for the phone, it will not be receiving any major update after Android 10.
