Realme emerged in China in 2010 (as Oppo Real) a sub-brand of Oppo, a subsidiary of BBK Electronics that was incorporated in 2018.

In July 2018, Sky Li announced its intention to establish Realme as an independent brand on its Weibo account. And in the same year, in November, Realme introduced a new logo.

In May 2019, Realme held its first conference in Beijing, China, to officially enter the Chinese market, launching Realme X, Realme X Lite and Realme X Master Edition.

And the following month it officially announced its entry into the European market and, in 20 more markets, including China, India, Southeast Asia, and Europe, it also published its first photo using a smartphone with a 64-megapixel camera.

As a smartphone brand, Realme keeps smartphones at the center of its product portfolio.

Realme will continue to have smartphones at the center and, together with the Realme Link app, they will be used â € ‹â €‹ to manage the company’s current and future IAoT products.

The Smart Hub includes four product categories – SmartTV, Smartwatches, Smart Headphones and Smart Speakers. The Smart Speaker has not yet been announced, but Sheth said the company will introduce one soon, along with more sophisticated Smartwatches, cutting-edge SmartTVs and smart headsets.

Moving on to N AIoT products, Realme says ‘N’ refers to its commitment to bringing new AIoT products and lifestyle, which include car chargers, smart locks, smart plugs, smart scale and more.

In addition to presenting the company’s new product strategy, Madhav Sheth announced the Realme Adventurer Backpack, which will be launched in the next few days alongside the new Realme X3 series in India.

Sheth also talked about the company’s plans to increase the local workforce in India to 10,000 by the end of this year and expand distribution channels to the country’s Tier 4 and Tier 5 cities, hiring more than 5,000 team members of sales.
