The first release of the Hyper-V Server took place in Windows Server 2008 and it still exists in Windows Server 2019. Besides that, Microsoft also provides a Hyper-V Core Server that is available since the release of Windows Server 2008 and Hyper-V that comes integrated into Windows 8, 8.1 and Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise and Education editions.
