YouTube TV gaining ViacomCBS channels like Comedy Central and MTV this summer
YouTube TV is gaining some more big-name channels this year.
ViacomCBS and Google have reached an agreement that'll see 14 new channels added to YouTube TV's live TV and on-demand service. Here are the new channels that will arrive on YouTube TV this summer:
BET
CMT
Comedy Central
MTV
Nickelodeon
Paramount Network
TV Land
VH1
And here are more channels that'll be added to YouTube TV "at a later date":
BET Her
MTV2
Nick Jr.
NickToons
TeenNick
MTV Classic
In addition to these new channels, this multiyear agreement between ViacomCBS and Google means that channels like CBS, CBS Sports Network, Pop TV, Smithsonian Channel, and the CW will remain on YouTube TV.
There are some big channels included in this agreement, like BET, Comedy Central, MTV, and Nickelodeon, and so it's good to see YouTube TV expanding its lineup with these popular channels.
