OnePlus releases third Android 11 preview with new visual design, always-on display

OnePlus has been teasing that it will add an always-on display feature with its Android 11 update , and now you can try it out for yourself.
OnePlus today released its Android 11 Developer Preview 3 update for the OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro, and it includes the refreshed design and new features that'll be included with OnePlus's OxygenOS 11 custom UI. That includes a new visual design, an always-on display with 11 new clock styles, and a new OnePlus Sans font.
If you've got an OnePlus 8 or 8 Pro, you can try this update out right now. To do so, you'll need an unlocked version of those devices, as the carrier devices from T-Mobile and Verizon aren't compatible. You'll also need to be comfortable copying the ROM upgrade package from your computer to your phone.

New visual design (including Weather app, Launcher, Gallery, Notes)
New layout for more comfortable and convenient one-handed operation
Always-on display function, including 11 new clock styles
Live wallpaper that changes according to the time of day
New OnePlus Sans font that improves readability
Optimized Dark Mode, including the ability to automatically turn on and off and a shortcut in Quick Settings
3 new Zen Mode themes, more timing options, and new Group feature to let you experience Zen Mode with your friends
New Gallery function that automatically creates a weekly story based on your photos and videos

Because this is a beta, you may run into some bugs while running it. OnePlus warns that some third-party apps may not work as expected and that there could be some issues with system stability and network stability.
OnePlus hasn't said exactly when it'll release its Android 11-based OxygenOS 11 update for the general public, but if you just can't wait any longer to see the new design for yourself, you can give it a shot right now. Let us know if you do!
