Flame Feedback

Flame Feedback is a sound sculpture built from a speaker driver, a candle, and electronics. The speaker is driven with a low frequency tone, pushing air and causing the candle to flicker. An optical sensor measures the candle flicker and frequency modulates the tone with the signal. Air turbulence prevents the candle from responding to the speaker
