meter How to light an LED when a voltage hits a certain point
A LED is used to indicate when a DC voltage reaches 5 volts or more. The LED should be fully illuminated at 5 volts and not dim at 4.5 volts or lower. The circuit should be constructed using discrete components,...
LED Pumpkin Candles for Colorful Halloween Jack-O-Lanterns
Discrete blinking LEDs are convenient, but the blink rate and duration are not configurable. Experimentation with transistors, resistors, and capacitors was attempted to modify the blinking LED behavior. Ultimately, the abundance of additional electronic components led to the conclusion that...
8 LED`s Audio VU Meter
This circuit uses two quad op-amps to form an eight LED audio level meter. The op-amp used in this particular circuit is the LM324. It is a popular IC and should be available from many parts stores. The 1K resistors...
Emergency LED Light LED-716 Emergency Light Schematic
This circuit illustrates the modifications made due to a blown resistor on the backside, which was soldered in place. The issue was traced back to this specific resistor. Currently, the pattern change switch is set to Option 3, which corresponds...
Wiring diagram for 3 way switch
This project demonstrates a visual representation of audio volume levels through the use of LEDs that illuminate in response to music. The circuit connects to the speaker output of an audio amplifier, allowing it to gauge the audio signal's intensity....
Fairy Flashing LED Lights
This simple and inexpensive circuit is not limited to Christmas use. It consists of two resistors, a small-signal transistor such as a BC547, and a flashing LED.
The circuit operates by utilizing a small-signal transistor, which acts as a switch to...
10 led VU Meter using LM3915
The circuit diagram illustrates a straightforward circuit design featuring 10 LEDs. It employs a series of half-wave rectification using the precision IC2 TL071, along with a single LM3915 IC that regulates the LEDs, functioning as a VU meter indicator. The...
Run through the display circuit equipment Chengdu
Color light-emitting diodes with different colors can indicate the operational status of electrical equipment, as illustrated in the accompanying figure. The red light-emitting diode (LED) R emits red light when energized, indicating that the 220V power supply is functioning normally....
1.5V LED FLasher Using 3 Transistors
To make an LED function, a voltage source is required that exceeds the LED's forward bias voltage, which is typically greater than 1.5V (approximately 2V for red LEDs).
To effectively operate an LED, it is essential to provide a voltage source...
