CMOS Crystal Frequency Multiplier
Crystals typically function at fundamental frequencies of up to approximately 15 MHz. When higher frequencies are necessary, a frequency multiplier is employed following the crystal.
Frequency multipliers are essential components in electronic circuits, especially when higher frequency signals are needed beyond...
Oscillator Buffers
CMOS buffers added to an operational amplifier oscillator enhance performance, primarily due to the asymmetry and variability of the operational amplifier's output saturation voltages.
The integration of CMOS buffers into an operational amplifier (op amp) oscillator circuit serves to significantly improve...
Cmos 555 astable generates square waves
A CMOS timer generates true square waves because, unlike the bipolar 555, its output swings from rail to rail. The component values shown give a frequency of about 400 Hz.
The CMOS timer circuit operates by utilizing complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor technology to...
Unsteady programmable circuit diagram
A circuit diagram controls the timing based on the input line state. When the input line is high, the 4016 CMOS analog switches select the timing of a 1.5 megohm resistor (Rt1) to produce negative output pulses at a frequency...
CMOS Toggle Flip Flop Using Laser Pointer
The circuit described operates similarly to a previous design but utilizes a laser pointer to activate the relay instead of a push button. An IR photo transistor (model Q1, Radio Shack 276-145A or equivalent) is connected to the set input...
A Cmos Based Motorcycle Alarm
A CMOS-based motorcycle alarm circuit that features an intermittent siren output and automatic reset. It can be operated manually using a key switch or a hidden switch, and it can also be wired to set itself automatically.
The CMOS-based motorcycle alarm...
Pulse DemodulatorCircuit
The Pulse Demodulator, as illustrated in the accompanying image, consists of a CMOS Hex Inverter. This circuit is capable of performing envelope detection on amplitude pulses.
The Pulse Demodulator utilizing a CMOS Hex Inverter is designed to extract the envelope of...
DG509A Schematic for Monolithic Cmos Analog Multiplexers
Maxim's DG508A and DG509A are monolithic CMOS analog multiplexers. The DG508A is a single 8-channel (1-of-8) multiplexer, while the DG509A is a differential 4-channel (2-of-8) multiplexer. Both devices guarantee high performance and reliability.
The DG508A and DG509A analog multiplexers are designed...
Magic Wand Conjuring Trick
The operation of the circuit is fairly simple. Three AND logic gates of a 4081 CMOS IC are employed, with gates IC1a to IC1c being configured as a standard cascaded latch circuit. S1 to S3 serve as reset switches. The...
