High-performance quadrature sine wave oscillator
Many RC oscillators utilize an advanced circuit in the phase shift unit. This configuration employs a voltage feedback amplifier, which experiences a significant decline in gain at higher frequencies, leading to the cessation of oscillation before achieving the desired frequency....
Overtone crystal oscillator
The crystal element in this circuit is connected directly between the base and ground. Capacitor C1 is utilized to enhance feedback due to the internal capacitances of the transistor. This capacitor should be positioned as close as possible to the...
A Low-Frequency Crystal Controlled Oscillator
The RF engineer occasionally needs to find an instrument that can reliably and quickly test a low-frequency quartz crystal unit. This equipment is often challenging to locate, leading engineers to consult electronic circuits handbooks for schematics that can perform the...
OCL yourself feedback amplifier analysis
The DC feedback circuit is illustrated in Figure 1-31. In this circuit, resistor R7 is connected to the output terminal, which is the midpoint of the static differential input stage voltage Vr, between the base terminals. This configuration represents a...
Sine to Square wave Converter
This circuit is intended to provide good square waves converting a sine wave picked up from an existing generator. Its main feature consists in the fact that no power source is needed: thus it can be simply connected between a...
Crystal oscillator II
This circuit utilizes an LT1011 comparator biased in its linear mode along with a crystal to set its resonant frequency. It can achieve a clock frequency of a few hundred kHz that is temperature-independent, with an approximate duty cycle of...
E crystal oscillator circuit composed of several gates
A crystal oscillator circuit is composed of several gates. Figure (A) illustrates a crystal oscillator circuit operating at 1 MHz, while Figure (B) depicts a 20 MHz crystal oscillator circuit. Figure (C) represents a variable crystal oscillator circuit with a...
Sine Wave Generator (1KHz Frequency)
This is a kHz sine wave generator circuit built based on the configuration of an inverted Wien bridge (see C1-R3 C2-R4). R5 and R7 are used for output amplitude setting. Set R5 to read 1V RMS on an audio millivoltmeter...
Switchable Output Crystal Oscillator
This oscillator circuit allows crystals to be electronically switched through logic commands. The circuit is best comprehended by initially disregarding all crystal components.
The oscillator circuit described functions as a frequency generator that utilizes the properties of quartz crystals to produce...
