Battery charger and PSU
This circuit was created for digital cameras. It's known the digital cameras have considerable power consumption. For example, my camera Minolta E223 requires approximately 800 mA. In practice, a mains power supply or high capacity NiMH accumulators (batteries) can satisfy...
Nicad / NiMh Battery charger
Using this circuit will give good charging results to a sealed lead acid battery, like I use in the metal detector. This circuit is extremely small in size and has a low parts count, making it ideal in some situations....
battery charger indicator circuit
This is a battery charger indicator circuit diagram. When the battery is charging, it is indicated by an LED. This circuit can be used with a 12V battery with a charging current of less than 1A.
The battery charger indicator circuit...
variable voltage and current power supply
An alternative method for utilizing operational amplifiers (op-amps) to regulate a power supply is illustrated below. The power transformer necessitates an additional winding to provide the op-amps with a bipolar voltage of +/- 8 volts. This negative voltage is also...
simple switching power supply 15 watt
The pulse transformer T1 utilizes a ferrite core, specifically M2500NMS-2 or M2000NM9, with dimensions of Sh5h5 (cross-section of the magnetic coils at 5G—5 mm with a center gap). The winding wire is of type PEL-2. The primary winding consists of...
FAN302HL 5 volt switching power supply circuit design electronic project
A simple 5-volt switching power supply electronic circuit project can be designed using the FAN302HL, a highly integrated PWM controller integrated circuit. This IC provides several features that enhance the performance of general flyback converters. The constant-current control of the...
how does power supply regulate its
Most power supplies regulate either their output voltage or current at a constant level, depending on the load resistance relative to the power supply's output voltage and current settings. This can be summarized as follows: To accomplish this, most power...
Current and Variable Voltage Power Supply
Another adjustment of application operational amplifiers to adapt a power supply is apparent below. The power supply requires an additional adjustment to supply the op-amps with a bipolar voltage (+/- 8 volts), and the negative voltage is also used to...
Precision Full-Wave Ac/Dc Converter
A DC level is generated that corresponds to the AC input RMS value (for a sine wave). The gain of the integrated circuit (IC) is set to a factor of 2 to 1.11. This factor represents the average-to-RMS conversion ratio....
