Video circuits
This page outlines the development of electronics for displaying a monochrome video image on an electrostatic oscilloscope tube. This work complements the Electron Optics section in the Experiments category. The primary objective is to showcase a moving video image using...
Gain-Controlled Amplifier
This single-chip circuit adjusts its audio gain according to the ambient noise picked up by the microphone. When operating in a quiet environment, the audio output is quiet, while a noisy environment results in a louder audio output. Audio to...
Twin-T Audio Sine Wave Oscillator
The circuit produces a clean sine wave signal suitable for audio testing or other applications requiring a high-quality sine voltage source. It utilizes a widely available dual operational amplifier, the Texas Instruments TL072CP. The component values yield an output frequency...
Mini Audio Amplifier with MOSFET Technology
Parts List The circuit consists of a preamplifier, tone controls, and a regulated DC power supply, providing a power output of 18 Watts for an 8 Ohm load.
The circuit design includes three main components: a preamplifier, tone control circuitry, and...
RF Field Strength meter
As I used this probe last night to determine if a 384 MHz oscillator was really working or not, I remembered an email I received a while ago, asking how to make a field strength indicator without the microcontroller. Thus...
Audio Line Driver Circuit
This line driver is capable of driving low-impedance lines with a maximum output of 70 V peak-to-peak. IC1 functions as a low-noise operational amplifier suitable for operation at 15 V. T1 and T2 serve as voltage regulators for the power...
UHF Transmitter Circuit
This UHF transmitter is designed for low power applications such as remote controls for garage doors, operating systems, and wireless alarms. This UHF FM transmitter is equipped with...
This UHF transmitter operates within the Ultra High Frequency (UHF) band, which typically...
Simple RF Transmitter
This schematic represents a tone transmitter. When using sufficiently small resistor values, it generates a tone. A resistive microphone (such as a carbon microphone) can be placed in parallel with or replace the resistor, allowing modulation of the tone frequency...
Aikido octal mono PCBs and 5687 PCBs and Aikido and 300B amplifiers
Buffers are a specific category of amplifiers, and power buffers are a subset of power amplifiers. The defining characteristics of all buffers include unity gain and a low impedance output, ideally accompanied by low distortion. When examining commercially available buffers,...
