GPO one-piece telephone circuit

Telephone call meter using calculator & COB

This circuit utilizes a simple calculator along with a chip-on-board (COB) from an analog quartz clock to create a telephone call meter. The calculator converts STD/ISD calls into local call equivalents and continuously displays the current local call meter reading....

Telephone Ring Converter Circuit

The circuit utilizes the TCM1506 ring detector/driver integrated circuit, which is a monolithic IC designed to replace mechanical bells in telephones. It is powered and activated by the telephone line's ringing signal, which ranges from 40 to 150 V rms...

Analog Equaliser

The time constant of R1C1 determines the low cutoff frequency, while the time constant of R2C2 determines the high cutoff frequency. The pass-band gain, Avpass = R2/R1. For a high-pass filter, Za must be capacitors and Zb resistors. By substituting...

High isolation telephone ringer

The diode rectifies the ringing signal to provide operating power to the audio relaxation oscillator, which consists of L1, L2, R1, R2, and C. Additionally, L2, in conjunction with Q1, functions as an opto-isolator, effectively isolating the telephone line from...

Telephone-sound-level-meter-monitor

The telephone-line decibel meter and line-voltage sensor enables accurate monitoring and adjustment of telephone sound levels. The 600-ohm resistor appropriately terminates the line. The power consumption from the 9-volt battery is 2 mA, and the meter offers a ±30 dB...

Telephone in-use indicator

This circuit operates as a line-current sensor and can be connected in series with any of the phone lines. To indicate an "in use" status for all phones on a single line, it must be connected in series with the...

Telephone control automatic lamp circuit 1

An automatic light system is integrated with a telephone block system. When the phone rings, the owner is prompted to pick up the handset or pull a lever, causing the lamp to light up. If there is no contact or...

Contactless telephone ringer circuit

The contactless telephone ringer circuit is designed to produce an audible ring and a visual indication when a call is received. Its primary advantage lies in the absence of direct contact between the telephone line and the circuit, which eliminates...

Telephone electronic coded lock circuit

The telephone electronic coded lock circuit is designed for double audio circuits. When this coded lock is installed on a phone, dialing out requires the user to input a four-digit pre-programmed password using the phone's buttons. If the password entered...
