Track multisite temperatures on your PC

Posted on May 31, 2012

The low-cost circuit in Figure 1 allows you to track four remote temperatures with thermistor sensors through the parallel port on your PC. This four-zone thermometer instrument has a temperature range of 40 to +90°C and a resolution of better than ±1°C. You can calibrate its accuracy to within 1°C over a 0 to 50°C span and within 3°C over a 40 to +90°C span. Thermistors are low-cost, passive, rugged components, making them a good choice for temperature sensing.
