OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro updates bring improved Bluetooth stability, security patches, more
Rocking a new OnePlus 8 or 8 Pro? If so, there's a new OxygenOS update coming your way.
The OnePlus 8 Pro is being updated to OxygenOS 10.5.8 while the OnePlus 8 is getting OxygenOS 10.5.6 in India and OxygenOS 10.5.7 in the EU and North America. These updates are now rolling out in the EU and India and will be released soon in North America after OnePlus resolves some technical issues.
Owners of both OnePlus 8 series phones can expect optimizations to the touch and interaction experiences, improved Bluetooth stability and compatibility, and improved system stability. Both updates also include the April 2020 Android security patches.
These updates will roll out incrementally, meaning only a small number of users will get their update right away. After a few days have passed and OnePlus confirms that everything is working as it should, a wider rollout will begin.
