Colpitts oscillator FM transmitter
Its frequency depends on the capacitance of the vary cap diode. The center frequency is changed by varying the biasing voltage of the vary cap through the 47K pot. You can use a 75cm telescopic antenna or simply a length...
Little dipper
The circuit consists of two fundamental components: the oscillator and the detector. The oscillator employs a Field Effect Transistor (FET) in a Colpitts configuration. The energy circulating within the oscillator's tank is coupled through capacitor C4 to the detector circuit,...
Quadrature-outputs-oscillator
The XR-567 operates as a precision oscillator, providing two distinct square-wave outputs at pins 5 and 8, which are nearly in quadrature phase with one another. Due to the internal biasing configuration, the typical phase shift between the two outputs...
Fet cascode video amplifier
The FET cascode video amplifier exhibits very low input loading and minimizes feedback to nearly zero. The 2N5485 transistor is utilized due to its low capacitance and high transconductance (YfS). Additionally, the bandwidth of this amplifier is constrained by the...
RF data link and remote control
This section describes an experimental low power, low bandwidth data signaling system that was initially made to operate at 55 MHz (television channel 2 in the U.S.). Before operating a radio transmitter, find out what kind of transmitter operation, if...
Fet Amplifier With Offset Gate Bias Circuit
In this amplifier circuit, the gate of the MPF 102 is biased with an external voltage. This circuit achieves tighter control of the operating point and biasing conditions.
The amplifier circuit utilizing the MPF 102 field-effect transistor (FET) is designed to...
Oscillator with frequency doubled output
The frequency of the current-controlled oscillator can be doubled by feeding a portion of the square-wave output from pin 5 back to the input at pin 3. This configuration allows the quadrature detector to operate as a frequency doubler, resulting...
RF oscillator circuit (2N3904)
This basic RF oscillator circuit is easy to build and the components are not critical. Most of them can be found in your junk parts box. The L1 antenna coil can be made by close winding 8 to 10 turns...
grid frequency
Wall sockets provide power in the form of a 230-volt sine wave, operating at a frequency of 50 hertz. This means that the voltage alternates between positive and negative at a rate of 50 full cycles per second. Different countries...
